I saw these glasses on Kickstarter, being made by the engineers who did the Flip video camera.   They’re called ZionEyez – interesting name.   For $150 I’m now a backer who will get a pair from the initial production – they say this winter.

When you realize even more sophisticated designs will surely be mass produced in a year or two, and lots of people will be walking around wearing video glasses of some kind, the implications of that can open up a window on how fast our world is changing, right before our…eyes.

Kickstarter is an interesting site to browse people’s ideas.   And I like the “crowdsourcing” concept, too.
