Bud Green had a quirky, jazzoid way of playing “I Shot the Sheriff,” a tune made popular in that early 80’s era by Eric Clapton’s version. This segment, from the cassette tape recording at the Brendan’s 1982 party and featuring David Phillips on the Fender Rhodes, shows the different take on the song that just seemed to be the way it came out when we tried it.
